💉 Injections at Home in Pertuis

Subcutaneous and intramuscular injections at your home. Insulin, anticoagulants, vitamins, vaccines — all on medical prescription. English spoken.

Step by step

How does a home injection work?

  1. Book an appointment (call or message)

Contact me with your prescription. I will arrange to visit at a time that suits you, including early mornings or weekends.

  2. Prescription check and preparation

On arrival, I verify the prescription, prepare the injectable product under strict hygiene conditions, and check for any contraindications.

  3. Injection administered following the protocol

The injection is given via the prescribed route (subcutaneous or intramuscular) using single-use equipment and precise technique for your comfort.

  4. Post-injection monitoring if required

For certain products (anticoagulants, insulin, vaccines), I stay for a few minutes to ensure you are tolerating the injection well before leaving.

What types of injections are available?

Subcutaneous injections make up the majority of my visits: insulin for diabetic patients (one or several times daily), and low molecular weight heparins (LMWH) such as Lovenox (enoxaparin) for the prevention and treatment of thrombosis.

I also carry out intramuscular injections: vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) for deficiencies, vaccines (influenza, tetanus, pneumococcal…) on prescription, as well as other treatments requiring this route of administration.

In certain cases, home infusions on specialist prescription can be arranged, particularly for antibiotic treatments or substitution therapies. Please contact me to assess the feasibility for your specific situation.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions about home injections

Do I need a prescription for an injection?
Yes, a medical prescription is required for any injection covered by French health insurance. It specifies the product, dosage, route of administration and duration of treatment. Without a prescription, the service is still available but will be charged directly to you.
Are injections painful?
Injection techniques have improved greatly. I use very fine, single-use needles and adapt my technique to minimise discomfort. Subcutaneous injections (insulin, Lovenox) are generally barely noticeable. Intramuscular injections may produce a slight sensation of pressure, which fades quickly.
Can I learn to give myself injections?
Yes, patient education is part of my role as a nurse. If your doctor considers it appropriate, I can teach you how to safely administer your own injections (insulin, Lovenox). This training is done progressively, at your own pace, until you feel confident and independent.
Do you visit on Sundays and public holidays?
Yes, I visit 7 days a week from 6:45 am, including Sundays and public holidays. Daily injections (insulin, anticoagulants) cannot be interrupted at weekends: you can count on me to ensure continuity of your care without interruption.
